once, a cloud left her house...

...and went to the city...

...but the city was dirty,

...so she went to the beach, 

and onto the ocean...

where she met with a storm...

and turned into rain to make her way home,

the beast of LA.
i started sketching it as an idea, then of vague memory of what some LA landmarks are, then i required referenced, but since i was in the convention without my laptop, i put it aside...
it will be completed soon.

while talking to people...

i like to draw things i'm comfortable with, such as gestural poses and simple faces.

AT CTN...

at the CTN convention Burbank this weekend, i saw many wonderful visual developers' paintings of these amazing cities with tall buildings and floating vessels. they were amazing.
then i wondered.. how come i havent seen floating buildings and vessels splattered and scattered on some surface...
then i quickly sketched this... it's incomplete, but i liked where it was going.
